The Vast Inner Garden is extended by fountains and walkways which enhance the sculptural quality of the complex. The undulating roof is inspired by the waves of the desert and sea alike. The building was conceived as a work of art integrating the cultural heritage of Abu Dhabi with its history and nature. The interior use of shining white marble shimmering in the strong desert light which fills the interior spaces is intended to generate an idea of a contemporary monument.
The significance of the minimalist environs of the desert and the abstracted nature of design become consolidated in the urban configuration and fabric of the building. These are accentuated by the use of the cold marble and stainless-steel surfaces that are adjacent to the flowing fountains and the lush interior garden occupying the back of the main club building on the ground floor.
